Whitwick Wheel

A former pit winding wheel has been preserved as a Miners’ Memorial  and placed (under licence) on highway land at the City of Dan.  The Parish Council became the owner of the wheel when it was transferred by NWLDC in 2014.

War Memorial

This is located in the grounds of St. John The Baptist Parish Church off North Street. (It is not owned by the Parish Council.)
