Whitwick Parish Councillors hosted drop-in sessions at Whitwick Park Hall last week to help residents to understand the current ‘Draft Local Plan’ consultation that is being run by North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) and how this may affect the village with housing and commercial development up to the year 2040.
Councillors were pleased to see so many locals taking an interest in this important issue and extend their thanks to all those that took the time to stop by.
It is hoped that residents found the session useful and felt able to feed into the consultation by the closing date of Sunday 17th March 2024.
Feedback obtained at these sessions will also feed into the Parish Council’s formal response to this consultation, details of which will be finalised at the meeting due to be held at 7pm at Whitwick Park Hall on Thursday 21st March 2024.
