Whitwick Parish Council were pleased to host the annual remembrance parade in Whitwick yesterday on Sunday 12th November 2023 and welcome Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mr Priyesh Patel MBE DL, Member of Parliment, Mr Andrew Bridgen MP and Chairman of North West Leicestershire District Council, Councillor Ray Morris, amongst those in attendance.
We offer heartfelt thanks to all that participated in the parade, the service at St John the Baptist Church and the wreath laying ceremony at the war memorial. It was wonderful to see so many people keen to come along and pay their respects.
We will remember them.
