Unfortunately, this year the Remembrance Parade is no longer able to go ahead. This doesn’t however mean that Remembrance is forgotten.
Cllr Lisa Collins, will be laying a wreath on behalf of Whitwick Parish Council on Saturday 7/11.
The bell ringers from St John’s Church will toll the bell at 11.02 on Sunday – once for each name on the memorial.
The church have also produced an Act of Remembrance video where you can hear the names of all those lost in WWII. It’s 12 minutes and includes 2 minutes silence at about 3 minutes in, to support people remembering in their own homes.
