Volunteers Needed – Would You Like To Be Involved?

LITTER PICKING

Whitwick Parish Council are seeking volunteers to help with our the Love Your Neighbourhood month 1st to 30th June 2026.

There are two dates we hope to have litter picking volunteers join us in cleaning up the paths, hedgerows and parks within Whitwick.

The dates for this event will be Sunday 21st & Monday 22nd June, between 10am – 12pm, anytime you are able to commit between these hours will be a huge help.

We will be gathering at Whitwick park hall afterwards for refreshments.

 

POPPY APPEAL

We are also looking for volunteers who can crochet or knit to help in creating poppies for a Remembrance mural project.

We will be looking at holding a knit and natter day at Whitwick Park Hall, or the poppies can be created from home in your spare time. All help will be appreciated and will be going towards making this years Remembrance month bigger and better.
