Leicestershire County Council has agreed to a temporary traffic regulation order for public safety to allow Cadent Gas to safely facilitate gas main replacement.
Road closures, prohibition of waiting/loading and speed restrictions are required at the following locations on Monday 30th January 2023 for four weeks as follows:
Road Closures
- Oaks Road from Swannymote Road to approx. 100m east of Footpath BOTAT 024
- From Oaks Road to End (Vicarage Forest Farm) – for its entire length
Right of Way Closure
- Footpath BOTAT 024 between Oaks Road and Hogarth Road
Temporary Parking Restrictions
- Loughborough Road between Berrington Court and Swannymote Road
- Swannymote Road from its junction with Loughborough Road for approx. 100m heading north
Temporary Speed Restrictions – both directions
- Loughborough Road – Temporary 30 mph from 50 mph sign to Oaks Road
- Swannymote Road – Temporary 30 mph from 50 mph sign to Oaks Road and temporary 40 mph from limit sign to a point approx. 200m north
The proposed alternative diversion route for Oaks Road will be signed on site.
