A temporary traffic regulation order will take place on Hough Hill, Station Hill, Main Street, Spring Lane and New Close, Swannington commencing on Monday 9th January 2023, to allow Leicestershire County Council to safely facilitate carriageway patching.
Road closures and prohibition of waiting and loading are required at the following locations:
- Phase 1 – Rolling road closures and parking restrictions – Hough Hill from Hoo Ash Roundabout to Level Crossing
- Phase 2 – Rolling road closures and parking restrictions – Station Hill from Level Crossing to Spring Lane.
- Road closure – New Road at its junction with Station Road when works are going across the junction
- Parking Restrictions – Spring Lane from Main Street to Foan Hill
During Phase 2, temporary traffic signals will be required at the Station Hill/Main Street/ Spring Lane junction.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Stephenson Way, Thornborough Road, Spring Lane and vice versa
