There will be a temporary road closure on Leicester Road from Whitwick Quarry (main entrance) east on Monday 24th October 2022 for up to three nights. Closures will be in place between 19:00 and 05:00 each night.
In preparation of the road closure, there will be temporary traffic signals at the same location from Monday 17th October 2022. The road closure is required for public safety to facilitate continuation of works to carriageway resurfacing.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Meadow Lane, Coalville; Hall Lane, City of Dan, Whitwick; and vice versa.
