We are delighted to inform you that on Tuesday 1st October 2024, a local surfacing company will be installing a tarmac pathway to the right side of the gates as you enter the main entrance to Whitwick Park. This work is to repair and improve the existing stone pathway.
The park will be open as normal to the public, with the right side being cordoned off by barriers.
The work is expected to start around 8am and complete around 2pm, weather dependant. There will be NO entrance/exit via the gate at the back of the park that leads to Briers Way footpath for the duration of the work being completed.
We ask all residents and visitors to the area to take EXTRA care whilst the work takes place and for the duration of that day until the tarmac is fully dry.
The entire park will be accessible as normal from Weds 2nd Oct 2024.
