Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate urgent hydrant repairs as requested by Leicestershire Fire and Rescue.
A road closure is required on Main Street approximately 25 metres north of Church Lane from the 8th April 2026 for two days.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via Spring Lane, Thornborough Road, Church Lane, Brookes Lane, Talbot Street, Talbot Lane, Whitwick; Church Hill, Loughborough Road, St Georges Hill, Swannington.
