North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) are currently consulting residents about their ‘ Draft Local Plan’, which sets out where homes and businesses should be developed across the district, up to the year 2040.
Whitwick Parish Council are running 2 public drop-in sessions – Thursday 14th March 2024 from 5.00pm – 8.30pm and Friday 15th March 2024 from 9.30am – 12.00pm (noon)
Both will be held at Park Hall, Whitwick Park, North Street, Whitwick, LE67 5HB, hosted by parish councillors and will aim to: –
- Raise awareness about the Local Plan document.
- Inform residents about which areas of areas of Whitwick are currently included within the draft plan.
- Encourage residents to submit their views before the consultation deadline of Sunday 17th March 2024
