Leicestershire County Council have approved a temporary road closure on Hough Hill, Swannington from Saturday 6th July 2024 at 22.00 to Sunday 7th July 12.00 (midday) for public safety to allow Network Rail to facilitate level crossing inspection and testing.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Stephenson Way, Coalville; Thornborough Road, Spring Lane, Station Hill, Swannington; and vice versa, and can also be viewed here.
