Please take extra care when using the crossing or driving in Market Place.
There have been quite a few and potentially very serious ‘near misses’ on the pedestrian crossing recently. Please keep looking for cars even when you are crossing over and keep your children (or pets) close to you at all times. The police have asked for incidents to be reported to them (by calling 101 or using the Leicestershire police force website).
