Following longstanding issues with flooding in several locations, Whitwick Parish Council will be hosting a public meeting for residents to hear from representatives of Severn Trent and the Environment Agency. This will be in Whitwick Park Hall on:
Thursday 26th January 2023 at 7.00 pm
Members of the public will be invited to outline the different issues they experience relating to Grace Dieu Brook. Problems have included drains, sewage, heavy rainfall and water levels.
It is the sincere hope of the Parish Council that this important meeting will enable local voices to be heard and for these agencies to outline thier different responsibilities. We hope to enable those that have the ability and responsibility to work together and address these overdue issues.
Restrictions apply on capacity in the building for public seating.
