In February 2025, Leicestershire County Council invited Members, Stakeholders and the public to give us their views in order to help us to make sure that the Council’s new Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) meets the needs of communities within Leicestershire. Views and comments were collected through a Survey, Social Pinpoint Mapping tool and through workshops held at the Cycling, Walking and Wheeling Forum.
The Council now has a draft ROWIP, informed by the feedback received and our findings. Engagement continues to be an important part of this process, input from District and Borough Councils as key stakeholders with local knowledge will be invaluable. The Council would like to hear your views on the draft ROWIP and associated Action Plan. You can do this by completing a survey on Leicestershire County Council’s Have Your Say Webpage. Engagement will run over a 12-week period from 22nd May 2025.
