Whitwick Parish Council invites residents to help shape future community projects.
Whitwick Parish Council is inviting local residents to share their views on three potential projects that could benefit from the Legacy Grant Fund.
The Council is seeking community feedback to help identify which projects are most important to residents and would deliver the greatest long-term benefit to the parish.
The proposed projects are:
- Opening up Holly Hayes Wood with an accessible path and bridge, improving access to this valued local green space.
- Developing a new multi-purpose community building, creating flexible space for activities, groups and community events.
- Creating a Remembrance Garden, featuring landscaped planting and seating to provide a peaceful space for reflection and remembrance.
The Legacy Grant Fund supports projects that strengthen communities, improve health and wellbeing, enhance local facilities and contribute to environmental improvements.
Whitwick Parish Council is encouraging as many residents as possible to complete the feedback form and share their preferences.
A spokesperson for Whitwick Parish Council said:
“This is an important opportunity for local people to help shape the future of Whitwick. We want to understand which projects residents feel would make the biggest difference to our community, and we encourage everyone to take a few moments to share their views.”
Residents are asked to complete the feedback form and select the project they would most like to see developed.
