As plans to create an eco-park at the Hermitage Recreation Grounds move forward, residents are invited to join in a tree planting event on Wednesday 29th November 2023 from 12.30pm – 2.30pm.
This event is free to attend and open to all ages.

(there will be be signs from the Whitwick and Coalville Leisure Centre to the Tiny Forest)
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫: It is strongly recommend to wear long sleeves and long trousers plus footwear for a day in the outdoors such as wellies or walking boots. Equipment will be provided on the day but feel free to bring along your own gardening gloves and a spade if you have them.
Light refreshments will be available.
