An act of commemoration and remembrance will take place at The Winding Wheel, City of Dan, Whitwick on Friday 19th April 2024, starting at 10.30am.
Councillors will be laying a wreath and the flag will be lowered in an act of remembrance for those lost in the Whitwick Mining Disaster in 1898.
Everyone is welcome.
