Community Crisis Team

Whilst this support line was set up by Whitwick Parish Council as a way for community to come together and help each other during the Covid-19 pandemic, the phone line remains active and is still monitored every day.

Community Recovery Team

Following the Covid-19 Pandemic, Leicestershire County Council tasked Community Recovery  Teams to help communities and individuals build resilience to the effects of the pandemic.

Sonia Lear is the Community Recovery Worker for North West Leicestershire rural communities and she can off support with things such as isolation, loneliness, lack of confidence, fear of going out and health and wellbeing.
