Whitwick Parish Council needs you!
- You will need to attend Parish Council meetings held approximately 8 times a year, usually on the third Thursday of each month.
- You will need to be prepared to spend some extra time attending an induction, Councillor training and learning about things that interest you on this Parish Council.
- You must be aged 18 or over, an elector, and have been a resident or worked within 3 miles of the Parish, for the past year.
- The position is unpaid and will take a couple of hours each week (reading emails, preparing for and attending meetings, getting involved with Council projects and property in the area).
- It will help if you have a positive outlook and a can-do attitude, be willing to work as part of a team and be comfortable working electronically with emails and online systems and processes.
