We have been made aware of works coming to Market Place and Church Lane, Whitwick.
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Market Place, Church Lane; Whitwick (see weblinks and scan QR codes).
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to safely facilitate replacement of pedestrian bridge, and footway maintenance.
The TTRO will incorporate temporary road closures.
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of three weeks commencing on the 13th April 2026 as follows:

Market Place From Church Lane for approximately 75 metres
Temporary Traffic Signals from 13th April for three weeks

Market Place approximately 50 metres south east of Church Lane Road Closures on 13th April 2026 for two days between 09:00 and 15:00 each day
•
Church Lane from North Street/Market Place junction to pub car park entrance
Road closure on 20th April 2026 for five days between 09:00 and 15:00 each day
