Whitwick Parish Council hosted a successful community drop-in event on Monday 10th August, giving residents the opportunity to learn about the Local Plan, Governance Review and Legacy Grant Fund, also for residents to ask questions and share their views.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed, as well as the dedicated Parish Council staff, parish and District Councillors, representatives from North West Leicestershire District Council, Leicestershire County Council, Save West Valley Whitwick and all other guests who supported the event. Consultation on the Proposed Submission Draft Local Plan(Regulation 19) is underway. The deadline for comments is 5pm on Friday 11 September 2026.
