Dear Residents,
We have had a resident query regarding the opening of Whitwick Park, North Street on Christmas Day.
It is in our Grounds Maintenance Contract that the park is opened every day of the year, with the exception of Christmas Day. This has been the case for the previous six years.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to any residents, however, as our Rangers open our park 364 days a year, we feel it is right for them to have Christmas Day off to spend with their families.
