The Free Tree Scheme is back for 2023 and this year residents can choose two free trees from four varieties: –
- Rowan
- Elder
- Wild Cherry
- Hazel
There is also an option to request up to 30 meters of free hedging, which is a Hawthorn and Hazel mix with a Rowan tree at 10 meter intervals.
Applications open from Monday 9th October 2023 – 27th October 2023, with collection day scheduled at Coalville, Ashby and Castle Donington on Sunday 19th November 2023.
